It's time for change. The signs are all there. It's like losing control for a moment and relinquishing complete control to your spirit. It is needed. Time to focus elsewhere. I put my trust in the universe and open my mind to opportunity. Bring on change and may we all embrace the moment when the time is right! The right time is my time. The right time is your time. Time for change.
EMBRACE YOUR AGE! Who cares how old you are? You should. Your age is your beautiful life experiences. Your age is YOU. State you age with confidence and pride. This life is about love. You give others the opportunity to love themselves when you embrace your own. Let go of the ego and embrace simplicity. This experience of life happens once. Live it for real and get rid of the gimmicks. Empower yourself and empower others. I'm 35 and have loved every minute of my experience. I look forward to stating how many more experiences I've had 30 years from now! My time is precious. My minutes count. EMBRACE all of you. To your mind, body, and spirit! <3
How do you spend your free time, I was asked. Isn't time usually free? Is time really spent like its money? I don't believe so.
Time is this moment. Time is the present. Time is now. Free to choose, free to create, and free to be. I don't spend time. I live in the moment. Change your words, change your mind, and change your life. Time is change and time is choice.
"One of the most important decisions you can make to ensure your long-term happiness is to decide to use whatever life gives you in the moment." --Anthony Robbins.
What are my passions and interests? This might be better answered.
Just a thought about a question so commonly asked that frankly annoys me. Happy Living!!! Enjoy the moments and live your passions... ^i^
My way of dealing with my grief from the loss of life was to meditate, say a prayer and release a blue flower in the wind. This blue flower symbolized to me all the angelic children flying home. As I did this I saw them all laughing and playing with one another. I smiled and knew they had each other and they were safe. I went to bed peaceful as a new week begins.
I wake to see this image this morning. I held the blue flower in my hands before I let it fly in the wind. Now I see a big, beautiful, blue butterfly cradled in a pair of hands. Faith is great. Believe in something. Visualization is a powerful tool.
Angels are all around us and if we stop long enough to recognize the signs, we are reminded that everything will be alright. I cherish this photo as it reminds me of sweet life and the preciousness of every day. Fly, Fly Butterfly...
My strong, vibrant, diverse, kind, and loyal SISTERS!
Find those women in your life that inspire you to live with kindness and compassion. Find those women in your life whom offer you their hearts and minds; and those that teach and inspire you to be a better person. On this very special day, I celebrate a few of the very special women in my life. Without the sisterhood, my foundation would be incomplete.
Women need women to be women.
Don't forget the people you are blessed to call family and give thanks for those that you have chosen as family.
To all the sisters out there, cheers to another day!
Friendliness is a gift that keeps on giving.
I saw this photo today and many great memories came flooding back.
I was in my local nail salon, getting a manicure, and I happened to look up to see that I really liked the nail color of the woman's nails next to me. I asked for the color of her nails and we began a conversation about manicures. We had such a lovely time in the salon that we exchanged numbers. A couple days later, she text me asking If I was interested in coming to see her perform on Broadway. I was super excited not only to see her perform but because of the serendipity! I took my friend from work and we went to see a fabulous show on Broadway! This picture is of us backstage. Fate must exist because I ran into this same woman randomly on the subway not too long ago!
People cross our paths for a reason. Just don't forget to look up and see the colors around you! Life's a great adventure. You never know where you will end up next!
"While lifestyle changes can really help bring your cholesterol down, Wong says that not enough people give them a real chance." (Nathan D. Wong, PhD, director of the heart disease prevention program at the University of California, Irving)
"The problem is that both patients and their doctors like immediate results," he tells WebMD. "Lowering your cholesterol with exercise and diet is just not like that."----'High Cholesterol Treatment -- What Works? Safe, effective treatment for high cholesterol isn't hard -- but it can be confusing. Get the facts.' WebMD Feature
Do you ask your doctor about diet and lifestyle changes when a medication is prescribed for you? There are options. Your doctor will discuss the risks and benefits with you. Just ask.
Many need "a pill" and many don't. Look at the big picture, be patient, and see beyond the quick fix. Most indications include diet and lifestyle as treatment options before medication or in conjunction. Cholesterol is just one example.
